THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE LASER TREATMENT

• Eye make-up should not be applied.
• Perfume should not be used.
• Alcohol and cigarette use should be stopped 3 days before the operation.
• Blood thinners should be stopped under the supervision of a doctor.

THINGS TO CONSIDER AFTER LASER TREATMENT

• The use of painkillers must be under the supervision of a doctor.
• Vehicle should not be used on the day of surgery.
• It should not be in dusty environments.

LASER TREATMENT PROCESS

After the examination, if there is no problem as a result of the examinations, the operation can begin. however, there is a point to be noted here; After the fundus examination, the pupils of the eyes are expected to return to their original state. this will take 3 hours on average. For this reason, the operation date can be given 1 day after the examinations. iLASIK procedure is quick, safe, and generally described as pain-free. The eye surgery itself typically takes no more than 20 minutes. After the operation, we take you to your hotel with our vip transfer, you can rest here.

Once the LASIK procedure is completed, you are advised to go home and rest, keeping your eyes closed as much as possible for the remainder of the day. Antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and lubricating eye drops will be prescribed. Activities that strain the eyes – reading and computer – should be avoided for 24-48 hours. You may watch TV or movies after six hours. You will have a follow-up appointment the day after surgery. While each person’s comfort level may differ, you may experience mild side effects that include tearing, sensitivity to bright lights and a feeling of “scratchiness”. Your vision may be somewhat hazy at first, but over time, these side effects should disappear. You can enjoy your normal activities with dramatically improved vision!
